The Cal-Royal UNIFB780 Metal and Wood Door Universal Flush Bolt is a fire-rated, fully automatic flush bolt system designed to secure inactive doors in commercial and institutional settings. This set includes a self-latching top bolt and an automatic bottom flush bolt, offering reliable performance for both metal and wood composite core fire doors up to 8 feet in height. UL Listed and compliant with UL10C and UBC 7-2-1997 standards, the UNIFB780 features a reversible, non-handed design, a 3/4" bolt throw, and 5/8" vertical adjustment for easy installation without removing the door. Built with a durable steel body and stainless steel components, it includes a thermal lock that activates during fire conditions and an override feature to prevent damage from misalignment. Compatible with standard ANSI door preparations and available in multiple architectural finishes, the UNIFB780 is a dependable, code-compliant solution for enhanced door security.

  • UL Listed for ( B, C, D and E Label) wood composite core fire doors, maximum 8’ in height. Conforms to UL10C and UBC 7-2-1997.
  • Fits standard and ANSI preparation for wood doors.
  • Fits standard and ANSI preparation for metal doors.
  • Override feature, prevents damage to doors of frame in case the strike and bolt are not aligned.
  • Reversible, non-handed.
  • Steel body with stainless steel components, especially designed thermal lock automatically locks inactive door in case of fire. (Bottom Only) 
  • Fully automatic, when active door is opened top and bottom bolts are automatically retracted for easy egress. When active door is closed 3⁄4" bolt projects into the frame, securing latching of inactive leaf. (Bottom Only)
  • Bolts have 5⁄8" vertical adjustment without removing door from frame for unusual conditions.
  • Available in Architectural Finishes. Packed 2 bolts per box with composite installation template.
