The Cal-Royal AUXSLAFLW4 Wood Door Automatic Flush Bolt is a premium, fire-rated hardware solution designed to secure inactive wood doors in commercial and institutional settings. This set includes a self-latching top bolt and an auxiliary fire latch bottom bolt, offering enhanced safety and compliance with UL10C and UBC 7-2-1997 standards for wood composite core fire doors up to 8 feet in height. Engineered for durability and ease of installation, it features a reversible, non-handed steel construction with stainless steel components, a 3/4" bolt throw, and a 1" x 8-1/2" faceplate. The built-in override function prevents damage from misalignment, while the thermal lock ensures automatic engagement during fire conditions. Ideal for standard ANSI door preparations, the AUXSLAFLW4 delivers reliable performance and is available in a variety of architectural finishes to match any design aesthetic.


  • UL Listed for (B, C, D and E Label) wood composite core fire doors, maximum 8’ in height. Conforms to UL10C and UBC 7-2-1997.
  • Fits standard and ANSI preparation for wood doors.
  • Override feature, prevents damage to doors of frame in case the strike and bolt are not aligned.
  • Reversible, Non-Handed.
  • Steel body with stainless steel components, especially designed thermal lock automatically locks inactive door in case of fire.
  • Smooth easy action, requires 5 lbs of force to actuate cam and piston mechanism, therefore meeting ADA regulations.
  • Fully automatic, when active door is opened top and bottom bolts are automatically retracted for easy egress. When active door is closed 3⁄4" bolt projects into the frame, securing latching of inactive leaf.
  • Bolts have 1” vertical adjustment without removing door from frame for unusual conditions.
  • Available in Architectural Finishes. Packed 1 top bolt and 1 auxiliary fire latch per box with composite installation template. Used where a fire-rating application without a bottom bolt is required. The auxiliary fire latch, mounted in the door edge, releases under extremely high temperatures to keep the doors in alignment during a fire.
