If you have an older browser, you most likely will see the
drop down menus fully extended.

This is an easy fix as shown below.

STEP 1
a. Click On Tools
b. Click On Compatibility View

Step 2
a. make sure "Display all websites in compatibility view" is checked
b. you should now be viewing the website correctly.
